WHY WE DO IT

Salida Mountain Trails

The Banana Belt is a fundraiser for the fine folks at Salida Mountain Trails. They built and manage 70 miles of singletrack spread across two trail systems close to town—Arkansas Hills and Methodist Mountain—as well as part of the iconic Monarch Crest.

Remember that the smile on your face after a well-crafted downhill is the result of hard work. When you register, you’ll have the opportunity to give little extra to support these fine folks. Please consider donating and helping SMT continue to keep the love alive.

Your Local Do-Gooders

We believe that bikes build better communities. That is why we donate a substantial part of our earnings to support community improvement projects that make real differences in people’s lives. We aren’t talking about some nominal percentage, and we don’t ask our participants to go out and fundraise.

By simply signing up and showing up for an amazing day on the bike, you are actively helping Shift Events create a positive impact in the world. Thank you.
